Retreats 2012
These are the webpages for the 2012 GEAR Retreats that were held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
The Junior Retreat for graduate students and postdocs featured mini-courses, problem sessions, short research talks, and activities designed to promote interaction. The Retreat included survey talks, research talks, and forums for discussion. Both Retreats were structured around five themes: Higgs Bundles, Geometric Structures and Teichmüller Spaces, Dynamics on Moduli Spaces, Special Representations, Hyperbolic 3-manifolds.
